The Pump House is one of the original structures on the ranch, used to house the pump equipment for the Mystery Ranch’s dutiful water well. In 2012, when it became clear that the dilapidated building was in need of a full overhaul, we just couldn’t resist adding a dose (or three) of fun and functionality by converting it into a full bar and guesthouse using salvaged mining camp materials found on the property, as well as an original sign from the Searchlight Nugget, the local casino.

Peep show photos found throughout the Pump House reference Searchlight’s red light district, while an antique railroad lantern is a beacon of good times to be had by Mystery Ranch guests.
