Shape, texture, patterns and light. With a location as abundant in sunshine and interesting objects as the Mystery Ranch, creating cyanotype artwork has become an enduring fascination for us. Because of the time-sensitive (and light sensitive) nature of the process, the final creations never fail to surprise and illuminate.

Objects we’ve used in cyanotype printing range from the botanical to the culinary and include plant material, quartz crystals, glassware, utensils, tools and many more.

Cyanotype setups require meticulous work (under cover, in this case) to prevent sun exposure before everything is ready.
